Hi Hoyt! I've got some grass emerging around my house, too. And around the willow trees that I have there's some ground and grass coming out as well. It keeps snowing, though, and covering up the ground. Hopefully the sun will come out again soon. Is that you running with your dad? Do you know I love to run? In my neighborhood the streets are clear of snow, which looks to be the same in your neighborhood, too. Hope you are well, I miss being in the forest classroom with you and the Tamaracks! I still have LOTS of snow at my house, so I'm happy to see you've noticed grass at your house as a sign of spring! I've noticed buds on trees, which will turn into leaves, and a soft, fuzzy bud called a pussy willow, too. Have you ever seen one of those? Although I haven't found grass at my house yet, I've been enjoying lots of wildlife in my yard-birds, deer, foxes, and they're all exciting to watch!
