26 Different Adventures Outside - 26 different days - each letter of the alphabet. Some examples include B-Biking, S- Sled,V- Volcano, Y - Yard Yatzee, X- XC skiing. We practice the letter throughout the day and try to find it in our home and neighborhood (street signs, cars driving by, chalk on sidewalk, clothes or we make it out of natural material). We are including notable events/actions (E- Earthquake, Q-Quarantine, and M-Masks) that happen during this time so 1- we can talk about it in a fun/adventurous setting and 2- the kids have something to look back on and explain what they did during this unprecedented time in life. Most importantly it gets us exploring something new outside- rain, shine, sleet or snow- and that breathe of fresh air is good for the soul.
