I went for a hike and noticed signs of spring. I love closing my eyes at the sun because all I see is red. I call it fire eyes.
I love wildflowers because they are so pretty. I had fun climbing and learned new climbing skills.
I got a tick in my hair when I was climbing, but my Aunt Kylie got it out. Be careful, it's tick season!

Coco, what a great view you got from the top of those rocks! Were you climbing near Lick Creek? I went hiking this weekend on the Buckhorn Trail and got covered in ticks! I must have found 25 on me. And this morning, I found a tick crawling on my pillow! I'm glad Aunt Kylie got the tick out of your hair.
ReplyDeleteThose wildflowers are really beautiful. Have you tried drawing or painting them? I love hearing about your adventures, thank you for sharing with us!
Hi Coco,
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful thought-to close your eyes. I read a writing prompt recently written by a 6 year old and he said "close your eyes and wait for what you might see, and then write about it." I wonder what you would write about when you close your eyes in different places, like hiking, or when you're at home in your yard, or inside. Those flowers look beautiful! I talked to Ayla today and I think that she went hiking at the same place you did.
Your friend,
Genny
Hi Coco,
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you were up looking down at Little Payette Lake-my FAVORITE place in McCall! I love those purple flowers, do you know what they are? It makes me so happy to hear about you just soaking up the sun. Thank you for sharing!
