Our listening walk

Henry, Oliver and Maggie loved going to "Maggie's school" today and singing along with Stephanie and listening to the book!

We went for a listening walk and found some scat ...possibly fox? We also heard: the dog breathing, some chickadees, a woodpecker and a lot of each other laughing!  The warm sun is awesome!!

In case you are wondering, getting dressed hasn't really made it onto the list of critical battles to fight 😜.  Anyway, Maggie spends most of the day with a shirt hanging off of her head pretending she is Elsa!

  1. Hi Dreier family! Thanks for sharing about your listening walk. Yesterday I heard the loud, high call of a red-winged blackbird right next to me! I have also been seeing lots of robins pulling juicy worms out of the moist dirt.
I'm going to make sure I get out again today and do more listening and observation, just like you did!

  2. Thanks for joining me from afar on a listening walk adventure! I love that you heard so much laughter, that's really important right now!!! On my walk I heard the river gurgling and snow crunching under my feet on the river bank. I do love this warm sunshine too - keep it coming Spring!
