Oli’s Spinner Fun!
Oliver loved receiving his spinner and letter in the mail last week, and we quickly assembled the tool. As pictured with the addition of letters, he uses his spinner to play outside collecting objects (first spin: number of items to collect, second spin: item type correlating to listed letter). We are still brainstorming two additional outside items (and we'd love suggestions!), and we plan to make a list of inside items as well. Legos will be first on the inside list thanks to Miss Maura's suggestion!

Oliver, I love the creative ways that you are using your spinner! You made a pretty comprehensive list of the things that I've been finding outside too. It's hard to think of more! I wonder if you have seen any lichen lying around? Are there any icicles left for you to collect? Pretty soon there will be buds, but you should leave them where they are and just point them out. I like that you are using your spinner inside and outside. I hope it brings you many hours of joy!
ReplyDeleteOliver, I am glad you are having so much fun with your spinner! You have so many wonderful ideas for how to use it!
ReplyDeleteI saw something in my yard this week that begins with a J - it was a bird called a Junco. Actually the formal name is Dark-eye Junco. I wonder if you have any in your yard? You can see a picture of it here:
