Charlie’s Adventure

Charlie was tired of the snow so he went searching for the sun! We decided to go for a hike in Riggins where we found the sun, green grass, a beach, river, and this very suspicious tree. Charlie decided the tree much have been chewed on by a beaver! We were close to the water and thought he must have been looking for small trees and branches to make his dam. We didn't want to scare the beaver so we continued on. What have you seen on your adventures?

    Wow, Charlie! I think I saw that same tree when I was in Riggins. If not, then the beavers have been chewing on a bunch of trees. I looked for the beaver's dam too, but didn't find anything. I'm glad that you found some sun and grass. That must have been lovely! It's been cold enough at night that the lake in McCall is still frozen. Yesterday, I skied across the lake!
